I think the second piece is much more successful, and that the edges being so rough gives it a retro feel. Perhaps if the line work could have that roughness in the future, it could end up looking very nice.
WOW! how did you go about doing this, I LOVE THEM! I think I remember you showing me these sketches before atleast the second one..I really like what you did with them!
